What is a nerve cell?

It is also called a neuron.

What is a nervous system?

The signals of perception like pain, touch, vision, etc. are transmitted to the brain and in turn, the brain sends signals to the parts of the body. This is done with the help of nerves. They act as wires which send weak electrical pulses to and from the brain. This is called the nervous system

What is a nerve cell?

Each nerve is made from attachments of multiple nerve cells. Like any other cell in the body, the nerve cell has a nucleus. It has a starting point and an ending point. The endpoint of each nerve cell attaches to one of the multiple starting points of another nerve cell. That is how the electrical impulses are transmitted from one cell to another.
